1 Vintage Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban L1762 Wings sunglasses feature a durable gloss black nylon frame coupled with a rare one piece Wings double gradient mirror lens, a low production variation among vintage Wings sunglasses of this period and only produced in very small quantities by Bausch & Lomb. The silver mirror lens is highly reflective not to mention it looks great with the black ebony Wings frame, perfect for skiing or for any occasion formal to casual. Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban Wings sunglasses were marketed as "a futuristic interpretation of the classic aviator style, a stunning combination of innovative sunglass fashion and hi tech performance." The unique design feature is the one piece polycarbonate Wings lens whose optical quality exceeds the standards for RX lenses and is made of the same material as airplane windshields. The unisex black Ray-Ban Wings frame measures approximately 6.0" temple to temple, and the one piece Wings polycarbonate lens measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple with left side laser etched Bausch & Lomb Wings. You'll find the Ray-Ban Wings logo in raised metal relief on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed Bausch & Lomb along with the B&L trademark and the US patent number while the inside of the other stem is impressed Frame France Nylon.
