1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1077 Chromax Outdoorsman Olympics Series sunglasses were produced in only very small quantities in the shooter style as a commemorative of the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France and 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. They feature super strong Deep Groove ear stems that wrap behind the ears for the most secure fit possible. Of course you also get the high performance of the vintage Bausch & Lomb B-20 Chromax lenses. Chromax Color Contrast Technology lenses enhance the relative intensity and contrast of critical driving colors (reds, greens, and ambers). As a result, brake lights, traffic signals and signs appear brighter and easier to see. Chromax lenses also filter out blue light haze to give you excellent overall contrast and sharpened details. Bausch & Lomb Chromax lenses are scientifically formulated to control glare, adding to driving comfort and reducing eye fatigue. Treated with an advanced anti-reflection coating, they also cut distracting reflections from the rear surface of the lenses. The unisex Ray-Ban W1077 Outdoorsman frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with the Chromax lightning bolt trademark and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and the Olympic rings on the other stem, and the inside of one stem is marked W1077 while the inside of the other stem is marked 1992 Olympic Games. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14, part of the collection of a well known sports broadcaster and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
