Vuarnet 438 Black Marble PX-2000 Sunglasses
Vintage Vuarnet Skilynx 438 sunglasses feature the rare black marble Vuarnet 438 frame, one of the most beautiful French frames ever produced, coupled with Vuarnet's famous PX-2000 brown mineral glass lenses. The black marble frame is a great combination of black, gray, and white hues, and the gold accent band around the lower portion of the lenses is the perfect complement. Vuarnet PX2000 lenses are a brown base mineral glass lens with an advanced anti-reflective interior coating that provides subtle enhancement of color and contrast, ideal for everyday use and driving. The unisex Vuarnet 438 frame is reminiscent in style to B&L Ray-Ban Clubmasters and measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo in gold on the exterior of one ear stem and PX in gold along with Vuarnet on the other, and the inside of one stem is marked Pouilloux 438 Hand Made in France. These are new old stock Vuarnet Skilynx 438 black marble sunglasses in mint, unworn condition, part of a collection of the finest vintage Vuarnets from the 1980s and 1990s in Los Angeles, CA.
