Vintage Ray-Ban Tortuga Outdoorsman Changeables sunglasses feature the rare Tortuga frame and General brow bar to improve the balance of the sunglasses on the face along with iconic Bausch & Lomb photochromatic Changeables lenses. Vintage Ray-Ban Tortuga sunglasses were made in only very small quantities and always look amazing with lots of eye catching reddish hues, a hard to find variation from the traditional B&L Ray-Ban Arista gold plating. The Ray-Ban Changeables photochromatic lenses will quite literally change density which results in the lightening
and darkening of the lens with varying light conditions; this is a lifetime feature of these B&L Ray-Ban lenses infused into the glass
and will not disappear or weaken over time. The unisex 58mm Tortuga General frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the Ray-Ban 58mm Changeables lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14, part of the collection of a well known TV and movie industry figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
