Vintage Alpina M1 sunglasses feature a matte black front frame and ear stems with black accent plate and gold rivets which all form the perfect complement for the real stars of the show - the extremely rare Alpina gold mirror lenses. Legendary Alpina M1 sunglasses have long been the choice of celebrities which include Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Victoria Beckham, and many more. Alpina M1 sunglasses are an icon of modern sunglasses design since their introduction in the early 1980s, with a unique racing inspired shape and the trademark gold rivets that decorate the front of the high tech composite metal frame. The unisex M1 frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the gold mirror lenses, only available as a special order from Alpina, measure approximately 2.5" x 2.125" at the widest points. The rear frame above the nose bridge is impressed Alpina M1 Made in W. Germany and is impressed 64 [] 14 on the lower bar of the nose bridge, and one ear stem is marked with the unique Alpina serial number and one ear pad is impressed Handmade.
