Vintage Bausch & Lomb 12k GF Rounds sunglasses are one of the rarest of all Bausch & Lomb styles c 1940s, with an intricately etched 12k gold filled frame and shooter ear stems for the most secure fit possible. But of course the real stars of the show are the round blue lenses, a lens color Bausch & Lomb produced in only very small quantities but one of the most sought after colors of all today. Note the precise, intricate etching on the B&L 12k GF P3 Rounds frame, a level of craftsmanship you just don't see today. The unisex B&L P3 Rounds silver frame measures approximately 4.675" temple to temple, and the rich blue mineral glass lenses measure approximately 1.5" in diameter with both lenses etched with the early BL 40 at the top center. The rear of the nose bridge is impressed B&L 1/10 12k GF, direct from a Miami FL waterfront estate exlusive to the Vintage Sunglasses Shop. Very rare.
