Vintage Ray-Ban W1080 Sport Metal sunglasses feature a sleek, high performance black chrome frame with all the bells and whistles - the "General" brow bar to improve the balance of the sunglasses on the face, shooter ear stems for the most secure fit possible, and Bausch & Lomb G-15 anti-glare lenses. Ray-Ban W1080 Sport Metal sunglasses were produced to commemorate the 1992 Olympic Games of which Bausch & Lomb was a major sponsor. The unisex Ray-Ban W1080 frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 1.675" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with the Olympic rings and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Olympic rings logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and Ray-Ban embossed on the other, and the inside of one stem is marked W1080 while the inside of the other stem is marked 1992 Olympic Games. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 61 [] 15, a great fashion accessory and a must have for collectors of Olympics memorabilia.
