Vintage Ray-Ban Fantasees Outdoorsman sunglasses are quite rare within the already rare Fantasees line, for you just don't see too many Fantasees shooters with ear stems that wrap around the ear for the most secure fit possible for active movement. Of course the blue Ultragradient lenses take photochromatic to a new level, adapting to varying light conditions by lightening and darkening but in a much quicker, more dramatic way than B&L Changeables photochromatic lenses from this same period. In addition to the B&L Fantasees Ultragradients, you also get the Arista gold plated General frame with brow bar designed to improve the balance of the sunglasses on the face.. The unisex Ray-Ban Fantasees frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the 58mm Blue Ultragradient lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 1.875" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA and includes the original Fantasees leather case, part of an amazing collection of vintage Ray-Bans owned by a well known movie and TV industry executive and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
