1 Vintage Revo 980 005 Laguna sunglasses were one of the earliest Revo styles and the first Revo metal design Revo produced in Italy after the first few years of producing composite nylon frames in France for their 700 and 800 lines. It's easy to see the design flair commonly found in Revo sunglasses, but here the stylish element is more centered on the antique gold frame with the Tortuga top accents and vertical insets. The unisex Revo 980 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.875" at the widest points. You'll find the Revo logo impressed in the metal on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked Made in Italy while the inside of the other stem is marked Mod 980 005 L. 140 and the rear of the nose bridge is marked 56 [] 14. Rare.
