Vuarnet 4465 Skilynx Orange Sunglasses
Vintage Vuarnet 4465 sunglasses were produced in only very small quantities, coinciding with Vuarnet's sponsorship of the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Vuarnet 4465 sunglasses feature a beautiful translucent orange - gold frame along with the iconic Vuarnet Skilynx double gradient mirror lenses. Vuarnet Skilynx lenses are an amber-yellow base mineral glass lens with anti-reflective interior coatings and double gradient mirror silver exterior filters. The Vuarnet Skilynx lens eliminates glare and reflection while enhancing contrast and depth of field, known as the essential lens for in the mountains and at sea. The unisex Vuarnet 4465 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark V on a Ski at the top center. You'll find the PX logo on a silver tab on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked France.
