Vintage Ray-Ban L1582 Wayfarer Woodies Light Tiki sunglasses feature Bausch & Lomb G-15 anti-glare lenses in the iconic Wayfarer Woodies faux wood frame. Light Tiki was the lightest of the 3 original Woodies frame colors and one of the most difficult to find. Always very expensive, the original manufacturing process made production of the original Wayfarer Woodies prohibitively expensive for Bausch & Lomb so consequently they were produced in only very small quantities. The unisex Wayfarer Woodies Light Tiki frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The inside of one stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the inside of the other stem is impressed Wayfarer and B&L 5022 is impressed above the rear of the right lens. Don't be fooled into thinking that modern reproductions of the Wayfarer Woodie are the same, neither the frame, lenses, and certainly not the collectibility factor and holding their value over time. Very rare.
