1 Vintage Vuarnet 117 Nautilux Outdoorsman sunglasses feature a gloss black French nylon frame with shooter ear stems that curve behind your ear to create the most secure fit possible for even the most active conditions. It's what makes these Vuarnet 117 glasses perfect for skiing or boating on warmer days when you don't want leather side blinkers - or just to look super cool! The Vuarnet Nautilux lens is a yellow base lens with brown and anti-reflective interior coatings and eye catching double gradient blue exterior filters. Nautilux is a very technical, all weather lens developed to protect against the strong reflection of the sea and against the tiring glaze of hazy conditions, especially effective for water sports. The unisex Vuarnet 117 shooter frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the PX-8000 Nautilux double gradient mirror lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.75" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo on a silver metal tab on one ear stem and the PX tab along with Vuarnet (on some production Nautilux is substituted for the Vuarnet here) embossed on the exterior of the other stem, and the inside of one stem is impressed France along with the impressed French crown trademark and on some production the inside of the other stem is marked 117 or 4117.
