Vintage Gianni Versace S33 09M sunglasses are one of the finest and rarest examples of Versace sunglasses ever made c mid 1990s. Everything about the Versace Model S33 exudes the finest Italian sunglasses quality, from the unique 24k gold plated link chain ear stems, gold link nose bridge, and the Versace trademark gold Medusa head that decorates both ear stems. Versace production records indicate that these model S33 gold plated sunglasses were produced just before the assassination of Gianni Versace in 1997 as he was walking back to his Miami Beach mansion from Ocean Drive. The original rare Versace S33 Medusa Head was thus one of the last examples of Versace sunglass design conceived by the founder of the Versace fashion house. We think you'll agree that these vintage Versace sunglasses are one of the finest examples of Versace design flair, much more finely crafted than modern Versace sunglasses of today. The unisex Italian frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.5" at the widest points.. You'll find the intricately detailed Versace Medusa head logo on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one ear pad is marked Versace Made in Italy while the inside of the other stem is marked CE Mod S33 Col 09M.
