Carrera Porsche Design 5628 90 Folding Sunglasses
Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5628 90 folding sunglasses are an engineering marvel of the late 1980s and very early 1990s, folding down to a size not much larger than a single lens. Porsche Carrera 5628 sunglasses have a slightly different shape and were produced in much smaller quantities than the other 2 folding Carreras of this period, the Porsche Design 5622 and 5626 styles. The unisex Carrera Porsche Design 5628 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points with left lens laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. You'll find the logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked Made in Austria 5628 90 along with the impressed serial number while the inside of the other stem is marked Carrera Porsche Design.
