1 Vintage Vuarnet 027 Skilynx black glacier glasses c 1980s are one of the icons of vintage glacier glasses, with the durable French nylon Vuarnet frame and highly reflective Skilynx PX-4000 mineral glass lenses. Often you see this style of Vuarnet glacier glasses with black leather blinkers, but we think you'll agree that the color contrast of the brown leather blinkers with the French black nylon frame is quite striking. Vuarnet PX-4000 Skilynx lenses are an amber-yellow base glass lens with anti-reflective interior coatings and double gradient mirror silver exterior filters. This legendary Vuarnet lens eliminates glare and reflection, enhances contrast and depth of field, and is recognized as the essential lens for in the mountains and at sea. The unisex frame measures approximately 6.0" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 1.875" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX or PX Vuarnet on the other stem, and the inside of one stem is impressed France, Nylon, and the French crown trademark.
