Vintage Vuarnet 117 Skilynx Outdoorsman sunglasses feature an eye catching black ebony French nylon frame with shooter ear stems that curve behind your ear to create the most secure fit possible for even the most active conditions. It's what makes these Vuarnet 117 glacier glasses perfect for skiing on warmer days when you don't want leather side blinkers - or just to look super cool! The sleek gloss black nylon frame looks great with the Vuarnet PX-4000 Skilynx lenses, an amber-yellow base glass lens with anti-reflective interior coatings and double gradient mirror silver exterior filters. This legendary Vuarnet lens eliminates glare and reflection, enhances contrast and depth of field, and is recognized as the essential lens for in the mountains and at sea. The unisex Vuarnet 117 frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the Skilynx double gradient mirror lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.75" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo on a silver metal tab on one ear stem and the PX tab along with on some production Vuarnet embossed on the exterior of the other stem, and the inside of one stem is impressed France along with the impressed French crown trademark and on some production the inside of the other stem is marked 117.
