Vuarnet 4463 Skilynx Clear Sunglasses
Vintage Vuarnet 4463 sunglasses are notable for a few reasons including the fact that this is one of the largest sizes Vuarnet produced and the rare clear French nylon frame. The clear translucent frame really looks great with the Skilynx double gradient mirror lenses, and note the interior accent visible through the clear nylon on the ear stems. Vuarnet PX-4000 Skilynx lenses are an amber-yellow base glass lens with anti-reflective interior coatings and double gradient mirror silver exterior filters. This legendary Vuarnet lens eliminates glare and reflection, enhances contrast and depth of field, and is recognized as the essential lens for in the mountains and at sea. The unisex Vuarnet 4463 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the Skilynx lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 2.0" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo on a silver metal tab on one ear stem and the PX tab along with Vuarnet embossed on the exterior of other the stem.
