Vuarnet 087 Skilynx Sunglasses
1 Vintage Vuarnet 087 Skilynx sunglasses were produced in only very small quantities, a more angular Wayfarer inspired style of Vuarnets produced in the 1980s with the open cut center V along the lines of the much more common Vuarnet 085. Vuarnet 087 sunglasses have a sleek, moderately oversized style which look unique relative to most any other pair of sunglasses on the market, and the durable and rugged brown nylon frame looks great with the highly reflective Vuarnet PX-4000 Skilynx double gradient mirror lenses. The unisex Vuarnet 087 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the Vuarnet Skilynx lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched at top center with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski". You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet embossed on the other, and the inside of one stem is impressed Pouilloux while the inside of the other stem is impressed France and marked either 087 or 4087 depending on the specific date of production.
