Vuarnet 009 Skilynx Sunglasses
Vintage Vuarnet 009 Skilynx sunglasses were a low production style early in Vuarnet's production of iconic Skilynx sunglasses, a somewhat more angular variant of much more common Vuarnet 002 sunglasses. The Vuarnet 009 is an eye catching design, with a subtle wrap design plenty of surface area to protect your eyes with the amazing Vuarnet Skilynx double gradient mirror lenses. The unisex brown Vuarnet 009 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 1.675" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched at top center with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski". You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet on the other stem, and the inside of one stem is impressed France Nylon Frame while the inside of the other stem is marked 009. This is a very rare style of vintage Vuarnets seldom seen today in the vintage marketplace.
