Carrera Porsche Design 5623 36 Top Gradient Mirror and Rose Sunglasses
Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5623 36 sunglasses are the rare red enamel and gold plated variation of iconic Porsche Carrera 5623 sunglasses, but what really stands out with this set direct from a well known sports figure and customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop are the interchangeable top gradient mirror and rose lens sets. Both the top gradient mirror and rose lens sets are quite rare, produced by Carrera in only very small quantities and mostly only in response to special orders from higher end optical shops. The unisex Porsche Carrera 5623 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.75" x 2.125" at the widest points with left lenses of both lens sets laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. The inside of one stem is marked Made in Austria 5623 36 130 and impressed with the unique serial number while the inside of the other stem is marked Porsche Design by Carrera and on some production one ear pad is impressed with the US patent number.
