Cazal Mod 988 Col 302 Sunglasses
Vintage Cazal Mod 988 Col 302 sunglasses are one of the most distinctive sunglass designs ever produced regardless of designer, a sleek and elegant matte black and gold plated frame with double bar nose bridge and ear stems plus super cool side "window panes". The side panes are two distinct sections, different from the one piece side shields Cazal used on other designs in the Cazal 900 line. It's a design that's hard to manufacture, but we think it's pretty clearly worth it as you're unlikely to see anything else remotely similar on the market today or in the future. The unisex Cazal 988 frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points. You'll find the Cazal logo on a gold metal tab on the exterior of both double bar ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked CE Germany Cazal while the inside of the other stem is marked Mod 995 Col 529 49 [] 19 135. These are new old stock Cazal 995 529 sunglasses in mint, unworn condition, a rare find from a Berlin Germany optical shop that ceased operation in the late 1990s.
