1 Vintage Ray-Ban W2979 Sidestreet Diner Oval sunglasses are a cool, elegant design, with black front frame and ear stems combined with unique burl walnut colored ear pads that were only produced for the W2979 line. It's quite a striking color combination, and the size and shape of these vintage Ray-Bans made them popular as men's and women's sunglasses back during their introduction in the mid 1990s and makes them enduringly popular today. The unisex Ray-Ban W2979 Sidestreet frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the oval B&L G-15 mineral glass lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.25" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem, and the inside of one stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban and one ear pad is impressed W2979 OWAS.
