1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1263 Oval Clubmaster sunglasses with black ebony top accents and Bausch & Lomb G-15 lenses are one of the classics of vintage sunglasses design c late 1980s / early 1990s. The Oval Clubmaster design was a low production variation of the Ray-Ban Clubmaster, extending the top temple accents and elongating the lenses with a more oval shape than traditional Clubmasters. It's a beautiful look, popular with men and women and looking both modern and managing to look retro at the same time. The thin gold band that frames the bottom of the lenses is a design touch that's often overlooked, but it forms the perfect complement to the ebony frame and green lenses. The unisex Ray-Ban W1263 Oval Clubmaster frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the oval B&L G-15 lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.5" at the widest points. Both lenses are laser etched BL near the hinges, and the right lens is laser etched with the Ray-Ban logo in italics. The inside of one ear stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while the inside of the other stem is marked W1263, and on some production the model number W1263 WYAR is also impressed on one ear pad.
