Vintage Ray-Ban Olympian I sunglasses are the rare low profile design that dates back to the 1960s, very early in the history of evolution of the Ray-Ban Olympian design. The brushed matte gold frame is beautifully manufactured and smooth, and it looks great with the original Bausch & Lomb mineral glass lenses that were a real optical innovation of the times. The sleek low profile design and moderate size means the Olympian I looks great on a wide variety of men's and women's face sizes and shapes. The unisex Ray-Ban Olympian I frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.5" at the widest points. The inside of one ear stem is impressed B&L 4 51/4 and the rear of the nose bridge is impressed in the gold plating B&L Ray-Ban USA and 58-20. Rare.
