Vintage Ray-Ban Fantasees 62mm Arista General sunglasses feature Bausch & Lomb Fantasees ultragradient lenses, one of the rarest of all vintage B&L lens technologies and a pretty amazing piece of science. The B&L Fantasees lenses take photochromatic to a new level, adapting to varying light conditions by lightening and darkening but in a much quicker, more dramatic way than B&L Changeables photochromatic lenses from this same period. In addition to the B&L ultragradient lenses, you also get the Arista General frame with brow bar designed to improve the balance of the sunglasses on the face. The unisex General frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the 62mm Fantasees lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 2.0" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges and the left lens laser etched Fantasees. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA, part of the collection of rare vintage Ray-Bans owned by a well known sports figure and customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop
