Persol 93139 Tortoise Shell Sunglasses
1 Vintage Persol 93139 sunglasses feature a light tortoise shell Italian frame with an amazing amount of translucence and light transfer coupled with rare Persol blue - gray lenses that form the perfect color complement for this frame color and made by Persol's famous Ratti Manufactury in Turin, Italy. We really like the distinctive, rounded front frame with the Meflecto ear stems which are a sleeker, thinner design that you'll see on other vintage Persols like the Persol 649. The Persol Meflecto Ratti system is also present here, twin cylinders inserted into tubes in the ear stems to provide flex and the most comfortable, contoured fit of any brand of sunglasses. The unisex Persol Ratti 93139 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.0" x 1.75" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the round Persol trademark. You'll find the iconic Persol arrow on the exterior of both ear stems at the hinges, and the inside of one stem is marked 52-72 while one ear pad is impressed BIP and the inside of the other stem is marked Persol Meflecto Ratti and impressed 93138.
