1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1457 Leathers Explorer sunglasses feature English rope leather wrapping and Bausch & Lomb Changeables photochromatic lenses. This style is far harder to find than the more common aviator shaped Leathers, and the elongated and unique lens shape gives you excellent glare protection in a striking and eye catching look. Ray-Ban Changeables sunglasses darken to compensate for varying
outdoor light conditions, and the properties are infused into the mineral glass lenses and not a coating that will ever wear out or wear off. The unisex Ray-Ban W1457 Leathers frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.675" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The bottom of the nose bar is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 16 while on some production one of the leather ear pads is impressed W1459 WVAR, direct from a large collection of finer vintage Ray-Bans in Malibu, California.
