Carrera Porsche Design 5623 Light Blue & Silver Sunglasses
Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5623 sunglasses feature a very rare light blue enamel front frame over silver plating for the rest of the frame, a super mod look especially when you pair it with the yellow Kalichrome and gray constant density lenses of this rare special order set. The light blue and silver is one of the most difficult to find color combinations of any vintage Porsche Carrera sunglasses c late 1980s, produced in only very small quantities and always a special order from the factory. These Carrera Porsche Design 5623 sunglasses include both yellow Kalichrome and gray lens sets, the yellow being particularly rare and eye catching paired with the light blue front frame, with the extra lenses stored in a black felt pouch inside the included Carrera hard black clamshell case. The lenses can be easily changed by lifting the center hinge and removing and replacing the lenses into small prongs on the frame, essentially giving you two complete sets of sunglasses with totally different looks. The unisex Carrera Porsche Design 5623 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.675" x 2.25" at the widest points with the left lens of each set laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. The inside of one stem is marked Carrera Porsche Design along with the PD logo while the inside of the other stem is marked with the impressed serial number along with Made in Austria 5623. Very rare.
