Vuarnet Skilynx 002 Matte Black Sunglasses
Vintage Vuarnet Skilynx 002 sunglasses are one of the icons of modern sunglasses design, first introduced in the 1970s and still enduringly popular today. While we can still fairly easily find vintage Vuarnet 002 sunglasses in gloss black, we very seldom see this much rarer matte black variation. The matte black 002 frame looks great with the Vuarnet Skilynx PX-4000 lenses, a mineral glass base lens with anti-reflective interior coatings and double gradient silver exterior filters. This legendary Vuarnet lens eliminates glare and reflection, enhances contrast and depth of field, and has long been known as the essential lens for in the mountains and at sea. The unisex Vuarnet 002 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet embossed on the other, and the inside of one stem is marked 002 and impressed France while the inside of the other stem is impressed Pouilloux.
