Vintage Ray-Ban cat eye sunglasses c 1950s features a unique color contrast frame typical of Ray-Ban women's sunglasses from this era, with contrasting colors on the exterior and interior frame and additional darker orange hightlights at the temples and nose bridge of the rear frame. B&L Ray-Ban midcentury sunglasses often employed this technique of making the inner frame as interesting as the exterior frame, for women of the era tended to take their sunglasses on and off a lot, sit them on tables with their friends, and so they valued a frame that caught the eye on and off the face. It's a classic size and shape that's stood the test of time and looks as stylish today as they did in the 1950s. The Ray-Ban cat eye frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.25" at the widest points.
