1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1862 Arista sunglasses from the Ray-Ban Exclusives Collection feature the pinpoint etching characteristic of 24k gold plated Arista frames and rare Bausch & Lomb oval blue mirror lenses. B&L didn't produce too many blue mirror lenses, for they struggled with the manufacturing process and had a higher than normal number of rejected lenses. When they got it right though it's a highly reflective, effective, and stylish mineral glass lens with the superior optical properties for which Bausch & Lomb has long been known. The unisex Ray-Ban W1862 frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The rear of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA in the gold plating, part of a great collection of vintage Ray-Bans from London, England.
