1 You've probably never seen these before, for they are the very early and very rare early 1970s Olympian sunglasses in black and gold with Bausch & Lomb G-15 anti-glare lenses. If you're familiar with later Ray-Ban Olympians you'll immediately notice the smaller, lower profile design of this original Olympian design c late 1950s - early 1960s, the predecessor to all future Olympian sunglasses styles that came in later years. You'll find the distinctive gold bar that crosses the upper portion of the front frame and continues to become the 2 ear stems. Note the frame inset at each of the 2 temples - this design feature is another way you know these are the original 1970s version of the Ray-Ban Olympian. The unisex Ray-Ban Olympian frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.0" x 1.125" at the widest points. The inside of one gold plated ear stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA 5.
