Ray-Ban CATS 1000 Blue Mirror Sunglasses
1 Vintage Ray-Ban CATS 1000 sunglasses feature a matte black nylon frame in the classic style for this line, but the real stars of the show here are the rare Bausch & Lomb blue mirror mineral glass lenses. Ray-Ban didn't produce too many blue mirror lenses, for it was a difficult manufacturing process and thus it was far less common to find blue mirror Ray-Bans than blue mirror Revos which were introduced about the same time. Nevertheless, it's hard to beat the optical quality of B&L lenses, and the highly reflective blue mirror looks great against the matte black background of the CATS frame. The unisex Ray-Ban CATS 1000 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban CATS logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and Ray-Ban embossed on the other, and the inside of one stem is impressed Frame France Nylon while the other stem is impressed Bausch & Lomb.
