1 Vintage Ray-Ban W0585 Wayfarer Dekko sunglasses are a rare, low production variation of iconic B&L Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses. You'll see design characteristics in the Dekko that you also see in vintage Ray-Ban Onyx sunglasses, including the angular front frame and the thicker than normal ear stems. It's an enduringly popular style that it's very hard to find today, and you'll probably recognize the Dekko style from TV productions such as AMC's Mad Men television series. The unisex Ray-Ban W0585 Wayfarer Dekko frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the Bausch & Lomb G-15 mineral glass lenses measure approximately 2.0" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal relief on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the inside of the other stem is impressed Dekko.

1A Vintage Ray-Ban W0585 Wayfarer Dekko sunglasses are identical in appearance but have custom Bausch & Lomb brown gradient lenses with crescent shaped clear reading pane below - see photos 19 and 20. While the reading pane is a low power magnification c 1.0 to enable easier reading of newspapers and books, when looking straight out the lenses are "plano" i.e. they are not RX prescription lenses. Very useful and multi-purpose.
