Vuarnet 049 PX-6000 Sunglasses
Vintage Vuarnet 049 sunglasses feature a beautiful silver and gold frame, intricately etched and a perfect color complement for the high performance Vuarnet PX-6000 lenses. The Vuarnet 049 is an elegant and eye catching style, something you can wear to the most formal occasion or take out on the ski slope for high performance. The ear stems stand out for us on the 049, a contrast of gold and silver with horizontal etching on the silver portions for added design flair. Vuarnet PX-6000 lenses are an amber-brown base mineral glass lens with an anti-reflective interior coating, a hybrid lens with similar characteristics of the Vuarnet Skilynx but without the exterior silver filters and is known as a serious lens for all-around outdoor use. The unisex frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo impressed in the silver portion on the exterior of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet impressed on the other, and the inside of one stem is CE Pouilloux France while the inside of the other stem is impressed 049 50 [] 20 135.
