Vintage Vuarnet 002 Lynx sunglasses feature the iconic Vuarnet 002 gloss black frame, but the star of the show here are definitely the yellow Vuarnet Lynx PX-9000 mineral glass lenses that are both rare and one of the finest optical quality lenses ever produced. Vuarnet PX 9000 Lynx mineral glass lenses are a yellow base lens perfect or night driving, cloudy and overcast days, and thick fog; they significantly enhance relief and depth of field in a manner similar to that of vintage Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban Kalichrome lenses. The unisex Vuarnet 002 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet V on a Ski. You'll find the Vuarnet PX logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed France and marked Ref 002 while the inside of the other stem is marked Made in France CE and impressed Pouilloux. Rare.
