1 Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5621 91 sunglasses feature a rare black and gold plated Austrian frame coupled with Porsche Design tricolor lenses which are almost impossible to find today and a second set of Porsche Design gray constant density lenses, one of the rarest frames and rarest lenses in the history of Carrera sunglasses production. Carrera PD tri-color lenses in this black and gold 5621 frame were produced in only very small quantities by Carrera c early 1980s, a very special frame and lens color combination. Porsche Carrera tricolor lenses combine horizontal bands of blue, purple, and rose in a way sure to get attention and compliments every time you wear them, and we love the pairing of these rare 3 color lenses with the black and gold 5621 frame. For that matter, the black and gold frame paired with the Porsche Design gray or brown gradient lenses as your second set of lenses gives you a sleek racing feel, 2 completely different looks in one pair of great sunglasses. The center hinge of the frame raises to allow the interchangeable lenses to be removed and inserted into small prongs on the frame, and then it clamps down to secure the lenses in place. The second set of lenses is stored in a felt pouch in the included black Carrera Porsche Design clamshell case. The unisex Carrera Porsche Design 5621 91 frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.75" x 2.25" at the widest points with the left lens laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. The inside of one stem is marked Porsche Design by Carrera with the US patent number impressed on the ear pad while the inside of the other stem is marked Made in Austria 5621 91 along with the impressed serial number.
