1 Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5623 90 sunglasses feature a matte black Austrian frame coupled with very rare Porsche Design blue mirror lenses and a second set of Porsche Design gray lenses. If you worked here, you would see 1000 vintage Carreras before you would see a single pair with blue mirror lenses, highly reflective in a rich, deep blue and produced in only very small quantities as a special order by Carrera c 1980s. The center hinge of the frame raises to allow the interchangeable lenses to be removed and inserted into small prongs on the frame, and then it clamps down to secure the lenses in place. The second set of lenses is stored in a felt pouch in the included black Carrera Porsche Design clamshell case. The unisex Carrera Porsche Design 5623 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.675" x 2.25" at the widest points with the left lens laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. The inside of one stem is marked Carrera Porsche Design along with the US patent number impressed on the ear pad while the inside of the other stem is marked Made in Austria 5623 90 along with the impressed serial number.
