1 Vintage Ray-Ban W2053 Chromax Rounds sunglasses feature a gold plated Arista frame with the distinctive Arista pinpoint etching that covers the front frame and nose bridge, but the star of the show are the Bausch & Lomb B-20 Chromax lenses. Bausch & Lomb Chromax lenses are scientifically formulated to control glare, adding
to driving comfort and reducing eye fatigue. Treated with an advanced
anti-reflection coating, they also cut distracting reflections from
the rear surface of the lenses. The unisex Ray-Ban W2053 frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple, and the Chromax lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.75" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with the Chromax trademark lightning bolt and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The rear of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA in the gold plating, and on some production one ear pad is impressed W2053 XTAS, part of the collection of a well known sports figure and customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
