Vintage Ray-Ban L0125 CATS 1000 sunglasses feature very rare Bausch & Lomb Ambermatic double gradient mirror lenses in a brown CATS shooter frame, a very low production model that's avidly sought by collectors and fashion aficionados. The star of the show here are the very rare Bausch & Lomb Ambermatic lenses to which a double gradient mirror coating has also been applied to the front surface. This amazing photochromatic lens will adapt and darken in changing light conditions, and it's a property that is infused into the glass and not a coating that will wear out or wear off. For extra glare protection, a double gradient mirror coating is applied to the front surface, highly reflective not to mention super cool! They automatically adjust both color and density for varying light levels, excellent for skiing, sailing, boating, and other sports that require sharp vision in all weather conditions. The double gradient mirror front coating provides extra glare blocking power with 15.5% transmittance at center to 4% at the top and bottom. The unisex Ray-Ban L0125 CATS 1000 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the cable shooter ear stems provide the most secure fit in all conditions. The inside of one ear stem is impressed Bausch & Lomb along with its triangle trademark, and the inside of the other stem is Frame France Nylon.
