Vintage Ray-Ban cat eye sunglasses feature the eye catching color combination of a pearlized exterior and black interior frame, one of the color combo sandwich designs which were an iconic design element of vintage 1950s and early 1960s sunglasses. The exterior frame is one of most beautiful textures you'll ever see in sunglasses with the drop dead look of real mother of pearl, and the metal and enamel decorations on both temples add even more design flair. The shape combines curves angles to great effect both in the front frame and down the ear stems, and the elongated temples create the distinctive cat eye look that women craved in the mid 20th century and which remains enduringly popular today. The unisex frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.25" at the widest points. The inside of both ear stems is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA, part of a great collection of midcentury eyewear from Macon, Georgia.
