Ray-Ban 12k GF Caravan Double Gradient Mirror Sunglasses
1 Vintage Ray-Ban 12k GF Caravan sunglasses feature very rare Bausch & Lomb double gradient mirror lenses in a 12k gold filled Ray-Ban Caravan frame c 1970s. Vintage Ray-Ban Caravan sunglasses are an icon of modern sunglass design, and you'll see hundreds of vintage Caravans with B&L G-15 lenses for every one pair of Caravans with highly reflective double gradient mirror lenses produced in only small quantities over a period of about 20 years in the 1960s and 1960s into the very early 1980s. The unisex Ray-Ban Caravan frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L 1/10 12k GF, part of the collection of a well known TV and movie figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.

2 In the early 1980s Bausch & Lomb produced a small number of these Caravan double gradient mirror sunglasses with their "Arista" gold plated frame, identical in size, shape, and appaearance but impressed B&L Ray-Ban USAon the top of the nose bridge and B&L 58 [] 16 USA underneath the bridge as seen in photo 17.
