The French tortoise shell has a lot of translucence that lets light pass through, and it has a clear inner sandwich design for some additional design flair. The low profile French tortoise frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.75" x 0.75" at the widest points.
