Revo 961 005 Half Moon Sunglasses
1 Vintage Revo 961 005 Half Moon sunglasses feature a number of design features that explain the enduring popularity of this style of vintage Revos. The front frame features a brushed gold and slightly flared design, more angular than many Revo styles and reminiscent of vintage French cat eye sunglasses from the 1950s and 1960s. You'll find a thin band of tortoise shell frames the front lenses held in place by an outer gold band, a perfect color complement to the Revo purple mirror lenses in these 961 005 sunglasses. It's an unusual lens shape, fairly flat on the top but quite rounded on the sides and bottom. The Revo purple mineral glass lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.65" at the widest points, and you'll love the rich deep shade of purple you get out in the sunlight. The unisex Revo 961 005 Half Moon frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and you'll find the Revo logo impressed on each ear stem near the hinges. The inside of one stem is marked 961/005 Frame Italy, part of a fine collection of vintage Revos owned by a well known TV personality and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
