1 Vintage Ray-Ban W2180 Tortuga aviator sunglasses feature the rare Tortuga enamel finish on a gold plated 58mm aviator frame, evoking the look of tortoise shell in metal and a perfect complement for the brown mineral glass Bausch & Lomb B-15 lenses. This style is known as the military version of the Tortuga aviator, with a highly arched nose bridge that comes closer to the top of the nose bar than is typical in regular Ray-Ban aviators. The unisex Ray-Ban W2180 Tortuga aviator frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14 and on some production one ear pad is impressed W2180 XOAS.
